Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is set to return for the team's significant top-flight match against London rivals Arsenal.

The young England international was out of action due to a fractured toe suffered after an unfortunate incident.

“He is ready to start and participate,” Maresca said. “All involved are pleased.”

This season, Palmer has made only four appearances in every contest, scoring twice.

Since his arrival from Manchester City in the previous year, he has recorded 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 appearances for the London club.

The Merseyside club have failed in their protest against Idrissa Gueye's dismissal for a fight with teammate Michael Keane during the team's single-goal triumph at Old Trafford.

When asked about more issues from the event, Moyes continued: “It ended right away, it was done, that was it, we progressed rapidly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

3. Yoane Wissa Trains with Newcastle for Initial Session since Setback

Newcastle United's new signing Yoane Wissa has trained with his new teammates for the initial occasion since suffering a knee injury soon after his move from his former club in the autumn.

West Ham United head coach Nuno Espírito Santo has stated that Liverpool' dip in performance “is largely irrelevant” as his side prepares to face the struggling top-flight title holders.

5. Gibbs-White Could Feature for Forest against Brighton

The club's manager Sean Dyche is optimistic that Morgan Gibbs-White will be fit for the side's at home fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

The England player was absent for Thursday's Europa League game against the Swedish side due to a back injury.

“We hope it is improving,” Dyche commented as he got ready to face the Brighton manager's team, who have secured a decent haul from their last three matches.

“It’s like a bad back, but a waking-up sort of injury, one where you just sleep funny or twist funny. So we’re not expecting, at this point anyway, that it’s very severe and it’s settling down already. So we’re hopeful that it’ll be fine for the weekend.”

Murillo was feeling his hamstring after the 3-0 Europa League win, but Dyche indicated the player “should be fine”.

However, the full-back (thigh injury), the midfielder (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), Chris Wood (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are expected to be unavailable.

6. Oliver Glasner: Conference League Defeat Will Not Set Back Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner feels that the setback of midweek's European loss to the French side is a sign of how far the team has advanced in challenging on multiple fronts.
